The 2026 Varsity Rugby 15s Campaign Ready to Start!!
The Westman High School Rugby Varsity Rugby 15s Schedule is set!
In the Varsity Girls Division, Dauphin Clippers, Souris Sabres, Vincent Massey Vikings, Crocus Plains and the Swan Valley Tigers will compete for the championship. On the boys side, Dauphin will be fielding two teams (White & Green) along with the Souris Sabres, Vincent Massey Vikings and the Crocus Plainsmen.
The season will kick-off with the John Keogh Rugby Festival April 17th and 18th in Brandon. You can find the full season schedule under the Varsity 15s Tab above. Good luck to all the teams and officials this season!!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 edition of the Westman High School Rugby website. Our organization is committed to promoting the game of rugby as well as improving the standard of play within its member schools throughout Western Manitoba. It is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship and fair play among its athletes. It also assists in the organization of league competition, tournaments and tours as well as other related activities and programs. We hope that you will find this website both informative and useful.

Westman High School Rugby Bursaries
WHSR offers two $250.00 bursaries for any male or female applicants who were members in good standing with their WHSR member High School. Applicants must do the following to qualify:
- Prove Acceptance to a Post-Secondary Institution
- Be Rostered on a University Varsity Rugby Team
- Provide a High School Transcript & Letter of Recommendation from High School Coach
- Letter from Applicant explaining their future education & rugby endeavors
- Must complete at least one full year of school at a Post-Secondary Institution
