Varsity Girls Rugby 7s Champion Crowned!!
The WHSR Varsity Girls Rugby 7s Championship Banner was awarded to the Dauphin Clippers at the Vincent Massey Jamboree today in Brandon.
The Clippers went undefeated through the four jamborees in the circuit to secure the championship. It is the Clippers 2nd Rugby 7s Banner in the history of the competition since it started back in 2012. It was also the first team other than Rivers to win the Banner since 2018.

Congratulations again to the Dauphin Clippers and to all the players, staff and coaches who dedicated their time to the wonderful game of rugby this Fall. See everyone in the Spring!!
Brandon University Rugby Bursary
Westman High School Rugby now offers a $250.00 Bursary for any female rugby player attending Brandon University and displays a full commitment to the Brandon University Rugby Club.

WHSR offers a $250.00 bursary for any female applicants who were members in good standing with their WHSR member High School and are successfully enrolled at Brandon University. Applicants must do the following to qualify:
- Prove Acceptance to Brandon University
- Be Rostered with the Brandon Rugby Team for 2021/2022 season
- Provide a Letter of Recommendation from High School Coach
- Must complete at least one full year of school at Brandon University and the Rugby program

It is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship and fair play among its athletes. Westman High School Rugby Bursaries
WHSR offers two $250.00 bursaries for any male or female applicants who were members in good standing with their WHSR member High School. Applicants must do the following to qualify:
- Prove Acceptance to a Post-Secondary Institution
- Be Rostered on a University Varsity Rugby Team
- Provide a High School Transcript & Letter of Recommendation from High School Coach
- Letter from Applicant explaining their future education & rugby endeavors
- Must complete at least one full year of school at a Post-Secondary Institution
